The VVS eTicket Check app for Android allows you to view all the information stored on the card, even without the card being present. Just hold the card to the NFC (near field communication) interface of your smartphone, and all the relevant information will be displayed.
This is a free app, which is a supplement to the official directory assistance app of the Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart (VVS). It allows you to quickly and easily check all the information on the stored tickets. You can check the current prices, find out when the next train is leaving, see which station it is stopping at, and even check for any special offers.
The app will also give you the opportunity to purchase a ticket directly from the platform, or from a connected online store. You can also purchase a ticket for a future date.
